Title pretty much says it all. Love everything I’ve heard so far. And the lyrics! Wish I could sit with him over a cup of coffee and discuss!

Everytime I hear "It Takes a Lot to Know a Man", all I can think of is that this song should be in the tv show "This is Us". This song is just amazing!

Fantastic song writing with fantastic sounds. This is probably his best album yet.

He still has it! After years of not making music he makes a wonderful album. I just hope he doesn't wait another 7years for the next 😉

We all want this to be a good as O but the reality is that it isn't. The fans saying in reviews that this is as good as O or saying this is "great" are lying to themselves and lying to everyone else. I won't do it. I respect Damien too much to do it. This album is "meh". It prompts a response of "get over it already, Damien". Maybe that is because O was sincere, heart-wrenching pain and self-examination following the split with Lisa. This album is more Damien playing the broken heart than actually expressing a broken heart. This might have been "great" were Damien capable of falling in love again. But we all know that is no longer possible because he made it clear to us all on O.

Damien put so much emotions, so much energy into this album that this is apsolutely amazing, I can't stop listening. Songs are so powerful, and what I like the most, he didn't rush anywhere, I can feel peace listening songs. Great job Damien!

I first heard the title song "My Favourite Faded Fantasy" on an Air France flight back from Madagascar and immediately fell in love with it. Once back in the United States I immediately went on iTunes and bought the song and listening to it over and over again confirmed my fondness for this fantastic number. After reading the rave reviews on iTunes via Shazam I decided to buy the whole album. I found it extremely depressing and found all the other tracks far from being of the quality of the title song track, I am extremely disappointed.

Damien Rice is a genius! His songs truly speaks to ones notion and expressiveness towards how one is feeling and going through. :)
