    Jessica you are nice to look at but your singing is o.k. You have a lot of voice overs in your music. When you do sing the background music is turned up to hide some notes you cannot seem to hit. I glad I did not download all of these songs.

    Dear Jessica; I love your singing. You were great from the start. This however is a further breakthrough for you. I am a 50 year old married man and I still consider us a young couple and also that no type of music pertains to any particular age group. All that counts is quality which you have a lot of. Sweetest Sin is pure romance with a dreamy, angelic, bordering on Avant Garde or New AGE music. Forbidden Fruit has a hint of poetic artistry and an abstract "charged up" passionate sound to it. The title track is a lyrical masterpiece carrying a wholesome message of pride that should set an example for the world. I have downloaded these as well as Everyday See You which hints a soothing jazz flavor. I plan to download much more. Keep up the good work and enjoy all you do.

    Overall, Jessica Simpson's career never hit the big time (especially in comparison to Britney) until she became an overnight TV sensation with reality series Newlyweds. Her third album In This Skin is a nice chunk of middle-of-the-line pop music, full of adult contemporry pop backed by a shockingly more constrained-sounding (and not in a good way) Simpson. One listen, and it could easily be dismissed as chock full of filler, but further listening is required here to gauge the depth of the album. It's hardly perfect, but In This Skin isn't horrific either. Unlike her albums since, Jessica sounds happy and in control, which is both the good and bad part here. Though it lacks any sensational singles, In This Skin is a lilting pop album basking in being in love (at the time).
