My ears are still hurting from this mess. All I can say about this so called music is Why would anyone think this is country or even music period? She needs to stay in her lane.

Why do we do this ourselves? Are we this sick and messed up? I’M SO SICK! Infected with were I live Let me live Without this selfishness Or this one Beneath her glowing eyes that call like fire to a moth The most disgusting lies are dressed in beauty that will ROT! If you can’t tell I love Lacey Sturm

There’s so many better options , her fame has followed her go somewhere she doesn’t belong .
  • "A" for effort

I'll give an "A" for effort, but honestly all I can say is stay in your bee hive and let a real country cowgirl sing country music. I have heard some of her music and like it very much but this is trash!

Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” captivates with its vibrant fusion of genres, showcasing her unmatched vocal prowess and bold artistry. The track brilliantly blends traditional and modern influences, creating a standout anthem that celebrates resilience and empowerment. Beyoncé proves once again why she remains a monumental force in music.

For someone with such established massive fame and presence to switch genres like Beyoncé is not to be taken lightly — the risks are high during a time when our country is at perilous crossroads. Imagine Taylor Swift randomly switching to heavy metal or hip hop — not sure if she’d be able to pull off that same feat. That comparison isn’t fairly on par in that country is rising while hip hop/rap apparently is not. Personally, I was not able to really get “into” this album but the quality of talent and production is there, the highlight is Texas Hold ‘Em and for someone like Beyoncé to communicate to her followers that country isn’t all bad and that she can branch outside of her expected genre(s) is both groundbreaking and respectable in its own regard.
  • I wanted this to be good

I wanted to like it because I like the thought of all the country lovin' folk getting so upset but this feels gimmicky to me. Instead of a strong country album, this sounds like someone trying too hard or something. Dang it. I hope she doesn't get a sympathy AOTY and puts out an awesome rock themed album that deserves AOTY. Also, the price is ridiculous.
